During September Greg and I enjoyed visits from our son who lives in Portland, OR and Greg’s sister from Huntington Beach, CA. Along w/ unexpected storm-related tree cutting and garden projects, four September events also filled our days – each unique to the couples and their families, each held at different times of the day (an evening wedding rehearsal dinner, a mid-day wedding and evening reception, and a late morning/early afternoon wedding reception). A couple of the events had feather & bling themes. Other than the fresh flowers everything depicted is a part of the EHHPG inventory. Florist Donna Roach’s arrangements depicted below were a couple of the 30+ centerpieces that she & I arranged for the 9/25 brunch reception with a floral palette of deep pinks, deep red, cream and greens.
As can be noted in Greg’s pictures below, the gardens are still colorful w/ blooming roses, turk’s cap, gerbera, mexican petunia, ruella, lantana, crape myrtle & others. Nik Riggs (watermarked) pictures below are a great example why hiring a skilled photographer for your wedding pays dividends. Like most folks we own a good digital camera, but Nikki’s technical training is obvious when her pics ( or those of other professionals) are compared to the pics we take.
