6/3/12: 75 mostly OOT guests, a black, white, hot pink, orange and green palette. Family and friends pitched in, this is the first event we’ve had where the groomsmen made the food! American Prestige Photography, Houston shot the event.

6/8/12: 75 guests for a 8pm Friday wedding with reception after. A palette of slate, soft greys, pinks and burlap. Bride’s cake: Bobby Rudeen; Catering: Rudy’s Barbeque; Officiant: David Boren

6/23/12: 150 guests. Tags on the Dr Pepper favors stating “thanks for attending our wacky wedding” said it best. Casual, simple and fun. A day-of rehearsal followed by a picnic at Cameron Park, a 2.5-hr start-to-finish wedding and reception with a daytime sparkler departure, followed by a one-week honeymoon in Hawaii. 6/30/12: 120 guests. A baseball diamond groom’s cake set up on glass containers of baseballs + peanuts and Cracker Jacks packages displayed in our ‘antique’ wooden soda boxes. 7/7/12: 250 guests, all but a handful of the guests and family drove 6 hrs or more. Fifteen minutes before the ceremony a surprise rainstorm logged this event in as our 7th inclement weather under-the-tent ceremony since 2005. It was a beautiful, intimate, sweet affair:  The Lord’s Prayer sung by an opera singer; a too-quick sand ceremony accompanied by another singer (with a fabulous voice) while the couple held hands and couldn’t stop smiling; readings by three grandparent. Barbeque was catered by a family friend. The bride’s mom made 300 pralines, a treat she’d prepared for memorable occasions using pecans from several relatives trees. 7/28/12: 125+ guests. Chocolate brown and ocean blue palette, submersed orchids in cylinders and lit crystal rose bowls for centerpieces.  A candy table, dove release, horse and carriage departure rounded out this bride’s wishes, along with dancing the night away prior to their Jamaica honeymoon.  DOC: Adraina Parsons; Caterer: Newt’s; Cakes: Bobby Rudeen; Bartender: Steve Deramee
